About Us

Out of Order Theatre was founded by director/writer Emma Blundell in 2005 with the production of her play Past Tense at the Old Red Lion Theatre. The company then went on to develop work based on the short stories of AA Milne, classical myths and the lives of influential artists. In 2009, director Bronwen Carr came on board as Joint Artistic Director.

In 2010 we produced The Smoke, a sell-out festival in Islington venues which included a showcase of new writing, a devised workshop with public performances and two rehearsed readings, of a brand new play and a forgotten classic.

In 2009 we produced the world premiere of Tail of Two Dogs at the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea, which is preparing for a wider tour.
